German visitors, Bernhard Klotz, president of the Verl Historical Association and Frithjof Meissner presented a pictorial quilt of the Verl area to the Delphos Historical Society. The guilt was a gift from the Historical Association of Verl. The presentation took place during a banquet and signing ceremony, sealing the sister city contract at the Knights of Columbus hall in Delphos. The guilt depicts scenes of the city of Verl, including the steeple of the St. Ann Church in Verl. Father Bredeick was baptized in St. Ann Church.
