Old City Building

Old City Hall Building, Police & Fire Departments still located in this building, built in 1888 to house all city offices.

The Old City Building, located at 125 East Second Street, was built in 1888 for $14,500. It served as city offices and home to the fire and police departments. The city offices were moved in the early 1980s to their present location on North Canal Street. The bell tower still holds the bell used to summon firefighters to fires in the city. The police and fire departments are still located in this building.
